Hear What Our Customers Are Saying:
We absolutely love our home, but if we had to pick the thing we like the least it would have to be the
kitchen. The cabinets were a good quality, but very plain, and the kitchen was very poorly designed.
My parents had recently had their small condo kitchen remodeled by one of the big-box stores, and it
looks nice, but they paid nearly $8,000 for it. Size-for-size, we figured it would cost us nearly
$25,000 to redo our kitchen, so we had Erik come out to talk to us about some modifications we had
been discussing.

After listening to us, Erik said "I'm not sure why you would go to that expense when I could rebuild
your entire kitchen for just a little more". We asked what he thought a totally new kitchen would cost
(cabinets and counters), and he said "between $8,000 and $9,000. We were literally stunned by this,
but we asked him to draw something up for us to look at. A couple days later he came by to show us,
and we couldn't believe what we saw! He had thought of everything (features we hadn't even
considered), and gave us a starting figure to work with. In the coming days we added more frills
(roll-outs in the base cabinets, crown moulding, window trim, under-counter lighting, etc), and by the
time we were through our bottom line (including a new stove & hood, two new sinks, new faucet,
everything), our total was just under $13,000 -roughly HALF what we expected to pay for just
cabinets and counters from the big-box store!

One important thing we hadn't considered about custom cabinets is they are not constrained by the
usual incremental dimensions of the cookie-cutter cabinets that you
think would be cheaper. We have a
window in our kitchen with 14-1/2" of wall to the right, and we expected we couldn't put a cabinet
there (because usually you are limited to 12" (too narrow), 15", 18", etc. -Erik made a cabinet that fit
perfect, and this is now where we store our cookbooks!

I could go on and on about how much we love our new kitchen, it is now a delight to work in, and we
never dreamed we could make it happen for such an affordable price! We would recommend
McClintock Custom Cabinets to ANYONE, and we are getting ready to have them remodel our basement
-including our own "Ultimate Bar"!
